Meet the Craftsman

I'm a native of Portland, Oregon and have been a designer and creator my whole life. From a young age, I would spend hours drawing comic book figures and building cities from Lego. Years later, that creative passion eventually manifested itself into Black Rose WoodCraft. It started with just a skill saw and orbital sander in the basement and things grew from there.

When I'm not passionately sanding away, I'm raising a puppy named Louie, compete in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and enjoy seeing the world one backpacking adventure at a time.

To be able to design and create freely for a living has always been a dream of mine. Creativity comes from a deep place inside you so to be able to produce work that people really love and enjoy is the most fulfilling experience.
